Lee Hood (Director) started as an apprentice plumber in 1985 at the age of 16 and in 1989 he qualified as an Advanced Craft Plumber with City & Guilds certification and through the following 7 years he continued to sharpen his skills until 1996, when he decided to take the plunge and start in business for himself as a sole trader. Success soon followed and Lee got his first foothold within the modular building industry with a local portable building company, which enabled him to start employing qualified plumbers. By 2001 Lee secured work with other modular building companies and again the workforce increased in size.

By 2003 Lee's workload was such that he had to open a dedicated office and store on South Boulevard in Hull, and this is where John joined him and added his particular area of expertise in commercial product knowledge and purchasing. Lee's customer base increased further to entrench his position as Yorkshire's number 1 plumbing and heating service company to the portable building industry and his work force grew to 24 qualified plumbers. After the downturn of the last 24 months, we are starting to see an increase in orders and once again we are positioning ourselves to expand the company again, hopefully within a short time period.

In August 2010, Lee's brother brought his expertise to the company as a quality joiner and we are pleased to announce that we are now able to offer the full range of domestic joinery services including but not limited to kitchens and bedrooms (including sliderobes).

Since 2006 we have operated from larger premises on Hodgson Street in Hull.
